Article 17 requires factually accurate information, the EU emblem accompanied by the funding statement, and the disclaimer. The emblem must remain distinct, must not be modified and must be at least as visible as other associated logos. It does not grant its user any exclusive rights.

Annex 5 also provides for the dissemination of results subject to intellectual property, security and legitimate interests, as well as open science obligations for publications and research data.
